How about making it a game? 把它做成一個遊戲怎麼樣？

An epic game. 一個巨大的遊戲

The main guidelines: 想一些規矩：

1.) each day deposit ¤5 into account, and 每天買一個公司的一部分

2.) each day use that to buy ¤5 of a company

Dollar cost averaging.

Fractional shares.

For 200 days in a row.

It seems foolish. 感覺有一點白痴

Purposely make it a big deal. 故意去裝作模樣

Make it important.

Add urgency.

How about making it a game?

Making it daily, how about that as a way to train myself up?

To learn?

To build strength in investing?

Fitness people go to the gym every day. 身體需要體練

Why shouldn't investors invest every day? 投資金錢怎麼樣可以也練習體練？

Why buy ¤5 scratch tickets every day? 為什麼每天買刮刮樂？

Why buy ¤5 cups of coffee every day? 每天買咖啡?

Why buy ¤5 of wine every day? 每天買酒?

Actually part of the point is to find a way to make it slow and steady. 細水長流

How about being too busy buying a company every day, so there's less time for unimportant stuff? 如果每天在忙買公司的事情的話，那就沒有時間去忙那些不重要的事情

How about just holding, not selling? 一直不賣那些公司的股票如何？

What is the worst that can happen?

I can lose some or all of the money, actually. 其實有可能會失去所有的錢然後錢都不見了

However if it was coffee or scratch tickets or beer then it seems I would also lose the money in those cases.

It becomes a habit.

Practicing, training, learning.

Becoming more efficient.

How about making it a game?

How about an epic game?

But it's scary. I'm scared.

What if people say 'you can't do that' ?

Say you can't make such a big fuss of ¤5 per day.

However a coffee shop barista doesn't say I can't buy a ¤5 coffee there every day.

And the store clerk doesn't say I can't buy a ¤5 scratch ticket there every day.

And the liquor store clerk doesn't say I can't buy a ¤5 wine there every day.

So let's test it.

Let's see what people say when I try to buy ¤5 of a company every day.

What will my friends say when they see I'm using a stamp and an envelope, every day?

Will people say, I'm weird, or I'm wasting time, or crazy?

Will some people say that's cool?

How about making it a game? 把它做成一個遊戲怎麼樣？

How about an epic game? 一個巨大的遊戲
